The daily experience is now one connected loop

At that stage, the release candidate brought the product around one clear structure: Today, Rank and Rewards. The four game modes still make up the Daily Four, but the experience around them is simpler and more social.

What changed

  • The Daily Four finishes as one score out of 400, with completed boards available for review.
  • Live Rank is open from the first completed player — there is no minimum player count before ranking appears.
  • Players can choose a pseudonymous username for Rank, or continue with a generated DOT number.
  • Achievements unlock collectible profile dots through streaks, scores, mastery and ranking.
  • First-time profile setup now waits until the first Daily Four is complete instead of interrupting the first round.
  • First Play guides were tightened so the demo board keeps the same proportions as the real game.

At the time, the focus was backend verification, privacy and Google Play release requirements before the next public test update.

Closed testing started

The Android build entered Google Play closed testing so installation, first-session clarity, device behaviour and daily-play feedback could be tested with real users.

Gameplay experience pass completed

The four game modes received a focused pass on movement, readability and prediction depth before the test release.

  • FALL received more natural boards and less obvious landing pockets.
  • BOUNCE was refined around wall contact and exit prediction.
  • LIGHT reveal flow and board readability were improved.
  • FORCE movement and competing force paths were refined.
